When will Woolfe launch?
The PC version of Woolfe – The Red Hood Diaries will be available on Steam March 17th. Soon after we will make the game available on GOG too…
When will Woolfe be available on XBOX / PS4?
We start porting Volume 1 to PS4 and Xbox One as soon as we finalize/release the PC version. Currently we do plan to release in Volumes for the consoles as well, although if the timing works out we might end up combining them. So the short answer is that we cannot confirm an exact release dates for consoles at this time. Sorry!
Languages / subtitles
Once we finish making changes to the game according to feedback from Early Access we will start adding more languages and subtitles. The following subtitle languages will be included at launch (March 17th): English, French, German, Spanish, Russian, Chinese and Dutch.
KICKSTARTER RELATED
Why not just give all of us backers the beta instead of going into Early Access? 2000 testers should do the trick, no?
There are two main reasons for that. Number one: we understand that a lot of our backers would rather await the final product than face the bugs and errors that inevitably are still out there today, we don’t know how many exactly and we can’t afford to spend the time finding out. Secondly Beta Access is still different from Early Access, see further down in the FAQ.
What exactly do we get in Early Access?
Early Access has been added to your Steam account and is an additional reward to any rewards that you have already paid for. You will get access to all levels which will be featured in Volume 1, Woolfe: The Red Hood Diaries, but you will receive the levels one by one (starting with city part 1 today, January 27th). Due to spoilers, we’ll hold on to the final boss fight and story outcome until the end of the Early Access period.
Will Early Access buyers on Steam also get Volume 2?
No, the Early Access campaign is strictly limited to volume 1 or as we call it: Woolfe: The Red Hood Diaries. Ultimately, ALL Kickstarter backers signed up for and will receive everything Woolfe, which is Volume 1 + Volume 2 (which -as stated previously- will release in August 2015).
Toy Soldiers & Physical rewards?
The last few months, all our attention has been going to the production of Woolfe. We start shipping most of the physical rewards over the next few weeks. The art-books and boxed rewards will take a little longer because they require more assets that are still in production. The Woolfe Toy Soldier Editor will also be made available over the next few weeks. You’ll be happy to hear we have a few new soldiers lined up and ready to do some damage!
How do I get and activate my Key?
Get your Early Access Steam Key here: http://army.woolfegame.com/ This is where you confirmed your rewards some time ago. Login with your Kickstarter e-mail address. You should now see a new button: SHOW KEY
